WHO IS ANTHONY KHAM?

My name is Anthony Kham and I am a self-taught, award-winning photographer based in Lancaster, PA. I simply want to make a difference in this world through my creativity.
THE REASON I bought my first camera was to take more pictures of my dad after we discovered his liver was failing.
Since his passing in 2020, I treasure those photos I took of him. That experience influenced the direction of my work: Helping create those feelings of the proudest moments, the relationships in life, and the challenging hardships.
Documenting people and telling their stories became my purpose.

AWARDS & RECOGNITION
STARTED OFF as just a reason to document my family, I became driven to learn the technical and artistic aspects. Through self-teaching, honing my craft, and reaching new heights, I obtained the confidence to take my personal work to juried exhibitions and gained recognition. The most notable distinction ever received was being recognized internationally in the Sony World Photography Awards for my body of work portraying Rolando Chinea, an up and coming professional boxer.
