Denise's Family Portrait

Denise contacted me earlier to photograph her son's birthday party event.  Unfortunately, I made the mistake of scheduling that event in my planner on the wrong date.  I had never felt so much embarrassment in such a long time.  Feeling awful, I insisted in making up for it by giving her a free shoot of any kind and providing free prints.

Well before I knew it, I was in for good time.....

Sometimes during family shoots, mom has to help with posing. Photography by Anthony Kham.

The photos were taken in the comfort in her home.  I set up a mini studio right in the middle of her living room, just using the bare essentials.  I believe the results were close to professional.

Luckily, Denise has a lot of experience dealing with her kids during photo shoots.  She aids with posing and making sure they look right for the camera.  Her kids are extremely well-mannered, even with their occasional burst of energy and hype.

At this point, we wanted to get her grandson in the mix.  It was challenge simply because his energy was off the roof!

And he jumps!

Denise was totally satisfied with the photos, which made me happy.  In fact, she felt bad for putting me through a crazy session, but I felt it wasn't bad.  It was nothing outside of my expectations dealing with kids.
